If they had come out and say, we screwed up, we are sorry, not happening again, I would be mostly fine. This is the major thing that made me loose trust in Brave. No you don't miss that code, that code was very well set in place intentionally. Privacy related they proved that they will when they can get their hands on anything, affiliated links issue, with the excuse of "we missed that code".
Many updates on Brave are for bat/crypto changes while you do not use them, but they are still need to be installed on your end for Brave to be updated.Ģ. If it was an option to not be installed on the first place then you could have removed them.
you can "disable" but they are still there. Jus a small correction specifically for Brave:ġ.
